Casino Car Park Upgrade
This project involved the upgrade to lighting, power, signage, cameras and traffic management, including the installation of a patented car park guidance system to over 2,400 car bays. Talus Group executed this project during the restoration works of floors, walls, columns and changes to the car park layout. Throughout this extensive project, the Talus Group team required detailed strategic planning to execute works around 24/7 live traffic and the Casino’s hotel noise restrictions. 2 teams of 10 persons worked back to back during day and night consecutively to hand over this time constrained project within 6 weeks.
Client: Narellan Town Centre
Narellan Town Centre Expansion
The expansion of Narellan Town Centre consisted of constructing a sister tower to the existing shopping centre and linked by a bridge passing over Camden Valley Way. For a gross floor area of over 132, 000 square meters Talus Group carried out extensive concrete and bitumen works during construction to install a patented car counting system hidden within concrete and bitumen slabs. The project entailed the installation of such a discrete underground system, all incorporated within an environmentally sensitive area.
Client: Westfield Kotara
Kotara Phase 1 – Strip Out
This high-risk project at Westfield Kotara required the strip out of services for an entire car park level in preparation for the installation of a mezzanine-level car park. With noise restrictions in place to meet DA requirements and a strict time frame to complete prior to the arrival of huge structural steel beams, the Talus Group team turned this phase of the project around within 48hrs.

Rouse Hill Town Centre Upgrade
Our standard approach to the construction works was well tailored to meet the our clients requirements. This project involved a face lift to the centre’s car park, installation of a patented parking guidance system and the careful coordination to install digitalised car space numbering on local street signs. Our project management and onsite management were strategically applied to overcome noise, vibration and time sensitive challenges where noisy and vibrational works were only allowed within a 2 hour window of 07:00am – 09:00am, yet the remaining project works were required to occur during 18:00pm – 06:00am. Talus Group successfully delivered this project ahead of schedule despite the challenges faced.

Our remedial building solutions for Sydney’s residential housing market and the greater NSW activates a wide range of services for both small and large projects. We work closely with government bodies, such as iCare, Building Consultants and Specialists whilst utilising high quality material, plant and equipment. Our aim is to ensure the job is done right and in accordance with industry best practice. This dwelling resulted in extensive remedial repairs to the brick work, render and paint. Works were completed within 3 months of commencement with zero impact to neighbouring properties.

Remediation of Town Houses
This town house complex in Illawong NSW consists of over 20 town houses with basement parking. Structural faults and subsequent water leaks resulted in a number of dwellings with inches of water having entered inside. The Building Management Committee (BMC) was short of funds at the time. Talus Group Pty Ltd was invited directly by the BMC to identify a cost-effective solution to carry out extensive remedial works and prevent further water leakage. The successful outcome proved the expertise of the Talus Group team to complete remedial projects on time and on budget.

Insurance Repairs – NSW Wide
Pattersons Insurerbuild is a market leader for domestic insurance building repairs in Australia and New Zealand. They work on behalf of insurers to assess damage, coordinate repairs and ensure the work is completed to the best standard. We work closely with Insurance Builders throughout NSW to carry out complex repairs on time and on budget for critical and non-critical damages to domestic houses. For example, this image depicts the final reinstated product of a tiled roof that had collapsed after a 20-metre gum tree had fallen on the dwelling and collapsed a third of the roof.
Retail Refurbishments - NSW, VIC, QLD & WA
Our reliability and dedication prevailed within the refurbishment of Medibank stores nationwide where resources were dedicated to consecutively execute each project throughout this macro roll-out. Each store undertook a complete refurbishment with the installation of new technological systems, all commissioned and handed over to the client upon completion and prior to the project start of the next store in the rollout program proved successful in our application of construction management systems.
